New Venture

EGTF Pro, John Dunphy

My name is John Dunphy,  a proud member of the EGTF, having
transferred from the WGTF approx four years ago.

John Dunphy in front of lorryI have spent the last six months designing and converting a truck into
a mobile workshop and  living area. I am now ready to fulfill my aim of
travelling around Europe teaching and mending/fitting golf clubs and
currently working out of ‘The Kerries ‘driving range in Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland.

Custom Golf lorryThe truck will be based in Font de Llop golf club near Alicante in
Spain during the winter months. This course is just fifteen minutes
drive from an excellent guest house (Mine) from which I organise winter golf breaks.

See http://www.themagicfountainretreat.com/.  The Oliva Nova golf  course (where most of our instruction courses take place) is approx 1
hours drive away. The truck will be in Oliva Nova during the CPD days
and teaching course, in November.  I look forward to seeing you there.

As an aside, my latest pupil is 84 years old and playing off a handicap of 18, is this a record?  I for one will not be playing him for money anytime soon!!
